Section 508 Compliance:

  • Conducted thorough accessibility audits of websites and digital materials to ensure compliance with WCAG and Section 508 standards.
  • Drafted and implemented a comprehensive Digital Accessibility Plan, achieving 100% 508 compliance for all park website materials in 2 years.
  • Performed meticulous testing and remediation of web pages, documents, forms, spreadsheets, presentations, booklets, and other materials.
  • Provided 508 compliance consultation/support for the State of Idaho Department of Parks and other NPS units.
  • Authored standard operating procedures for 508 compliance and educated staff on best-practices.
  • Produced audio description, alt-text, and closed captions for the park website, mobile app, and social media content.

Management of NPS Website and Mobile App:

  • Developed in-depth expertise in Content Management Systems and drafted the Digital Content Strategy to define goals, plan, manage, and develop website and app content.
  • Conducted content inventory, analyzed gaps, and maintained an editorial calendar to ensure up-to-date and relevant information.
